The farm grows crops typical of Tuscany and of the Mugello valley in particular.


Farming at Corzano respects and values the agricultural tradition of the Mugello valley and whatever the time of the year, during their stay guests have the opportunity to taste and buy genuine produce typical of the area: extra virgin olive oil, excellent saffron, fresh and dried figs, chestnuts, as well as officinal herbs such as lavender, fennel and equisetum (suitable for herbal teas, infusions and as natural flavourings).

Documental evidence attests an age-old tradition in the production and trade of Florentine saffron, which is widely appreciated since the Middle Ages when it was known as 'Zima di Firenze'.

At Corzano guests may purchase this culinary treasure in 0.1 gram sachets or in 0.3 gram small jars, complete with many tips for tasty recipes.
